"I got a Computer Science degree in Queen Mary University in London, which costs more than £10,000 and then looked for a job, but couldn't find one. The jobs needed experience or certificates that I didn't have such as MCSEs or MCSAs, which I had never heard of because the University had never mentioned them.

Joskos showed me CVs of graduates who could not get jobs because they didn't have the relevant experience. One of these CVs actually belonged to a friend of mine, which proved to me that they were real CVs!

The Joskos course was pretty easygoing to start with, as I started with the basics, and I picked up things as I went along. It's really down to you how quickly you progress.

Joskos organised my work experience with First Investment bank. I actually ended up working under another Joskos student while I was there. I'm now working for the second largest French investment bank in the City of London.

I don't think I would have got the job without the work experience from Joskos.

Working as an IT engineer in the city has changed my life financially and you mix with the right people to keep you career-focused. I started at circa £25k a year, which for a first job was very good, and I'm doing a one year contract there so I can negotiate after that year is up. When I was at Sports World I was probably on about £5k a year, so that's a salary increase of about 5 times in one year. My parents are very happy with my achievements stemming from my Joskos training. They're very proud of me and I can now financially help them as well.

I would say if there was anyone in the situation I was in, nothing comes for free and you have to work for it, if you have the determination to do it then go for it.

If you want to achieve something, work hard and you can achieve it and you could be earning upwards of £30-35k per year. Four years ago I would have thought that was unrealistic but now not so much.

I highly recommend Joskos. There is nothing too difficult about the course, and it really changes your life. In hindsight, I would still have gone to University for the experience and the education, but not for the degree as the experience offered by Joskos has been far more useful."
