Joskos success stories - first time job seekers
Byaruhanga Ronnie
I love Joskos because it helped me get to where I am now – I own an IT support firm in Uganda.
I returned from the UK on July 2011 and decided to start up a company of my own which I did in October 2011. I began looking for clients and writing up IT support proposals and within a month I managed to get 2 new clients which I currently support. My target is 10 clients within 2 years and I believe that this is an achievable target.
It can be tough out there, but it’s a case of being patient, humble and working hard to get what you want – that’s the way forward. I currently have 2 more clients who are reviewing my proposals and hopefully these projects wills start by the end of June 2012. I am happy and believe that I will be successful.
I can’t forget Adrian who supported me throughout getting my certification – he is doing a great job at Joskos. Thank you Joskos – keep it up!

At the moment I'm working at SAP doing 2nd line support work.
After the Joskos work experience placement, someone found my CV on Monster and just sent me interview invite for a role at SAP for a project to build windows 7 laptops, which was just a 2 month contract till end of December.
After a few weeks they said they were impressed with my work so they offered me a full time role as 2nd line support engineer and I accepted. They have now extended my contract till June 2012.
Without doing the work placement at Joskos, I would have struggled to find my first IT job. Thanks alot!
Farshid (Fash) Nadimifard
My name is Fash Nadimifard I had a passion for networking at a young age and wanted to do it as a career. I was
under a lot of pressure to go to a normal college and university and complete my A Levels and an IT Degree.
I decided to do my MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA and CCNA straight after High School. It was a big risk for me but I am glad I've made that decision. I chose a different path and making that choice has changed my life for the better.
After completing this course in September 2005, I started my career in a medium sized company which I gained a lot of experience, I moved on from that job and now I am working for SunGard. SunGard are a huge solutions company and they are located at Docklands and Heathrow.
I'm 18 years of age and am now working for a company which turns over $4 Billion. I got to where I am now with no experience but I had a passion for networking and servers now I feel very confident and feel like I have a bright future.

When I came to Joskos, I never imagined I would end up working in Miamiin America two years later.
I didn’t have an IT background before I came to Joskos. Once I started my course I took it at a good, slow pace. They got me my work experience at Quintin Kynaston School in St John’s Wood in north London. There were other Joskos students there, and this made me feel more comfortable.
I had my doubts when signing up at Joskos but the decision was well worth it. I’ve got my Microsoft certification, and I’m now living and working in Miami by the beach. I thank Joskos very much for all the help and support they gave me, not only during my course but also after I finished my course.

I just want to take this chance to say how happy I am with Joskos. When I joined Joskos I was 19. Adrian, (Student Liaison Officer) has given me priceless advice and guidance, and he is an absolute credit to your organization. He has always gone the extra mile for me. I cannot say how helpful you have been Adrian and thank you tremendously and wish you all the best.
I am now 21 and working in Victoria as a Trainee Network Technician for BVR supporting UNICEF’s IT network. I am enjoying my new job. It is all thanks to the great training provided by Joskos. I could have not studied with a better institute!
Thank you Adrian & everyone else at Joskos.

Just a year ago, I was studying hard and working hard to find a job in IT, after landing a great role in the heart of the
City, the square mile, my career has gone from strength to strength.
In that short time, I have supported clients like Societe Generale, State Street Bank, Hamleys, 20th Century Fox, The Houses of Parliament and multiple other well known organisations - my company is now sending me on a support contract to Dubai for 9 months with paid accommodation on the Palm Tree Islands, on the coast and will pay for my car.
Leaving in 4 weeks, I can't believe how quickly I've come in under a year. If anyone said to me a year ago, I'd be supporting clients in Dubai, from Dubai, I would have laughed at them! Bit daunting though, but naturally excited! Can't wait. Thank you Joskos!
